Sharing this from my other feeds in case you haven't heard!
Not a metric ton of updates at the moment but there's definitely some. Had some personal life stuff happen that demanded my attention but other than that I've been chugging along on this train track.
I normally get to do this from the studio but I've been a little too busy lately.
A whole bunch has been going on lately!
1st! Here recently the AC went out in the studio so I've been dealing with that for about a week or so. At the time I'm writing this we don't yet have the new one installed but hopefully that'll be taken care of by the time I'm posting this.
Work on the album has slowed just a bit this past month as I've been working to build content for a brand new Patreon I'll be launching soon. It's been a project in the making for a while now and it's good it's finally arriving. Not too mention, my amp is still currently out of service and I need that git fiddle for a few things.
I know it's been taking a while but streaming shows are coming. These past couple of weeks had some life things get in the way, and then I had a few work opportunities come about and to keep all this going, I gotta feed the monster.
Anyway, I'll be working to do those at least once a week if not more. Weekends seem to be a decent time to get those broadcasted. I do perform out in IRL semi regularly so I'll be bouncing between those depending upon the week. I plan on some free streaming acoustic shows and then maybe about once a month or so I'll do full production with all the backing tracks I've created from the album.
I'll have more news soon!
Alright! That's all for now!
Till next time,
-Bryant
Only have 3 lead vocals tracks to go! I think about a handful of harmonies and then it's on to refining production for the entire 20 song project. It's been really nice to dig back into some of these songs to see how they mesh with the new material both from a sonic perspective as well as lyrically. I actually have an additional 6 songs I originally intended to create as bonus material but I've resigned to move forward with new material perhaps coming back to those some distant future from now.
From here on, I'm going to let this blog be a little more loosie-goosy. I want to be a little more personal and I'm going to attempt to open up a little more. Okay, now since I've said that! Let's talk more about the why I want to do that, and that's the music!
I've had many struggles in trying to complete this album as the music affected me greatly. I kept having to put it down, focus on something else, and try to pick it back up again at a later date. I had once created an end point already as the story line thread behind the inspiration had been mostly summed up. But along the moments of life the story changed, more was experienced and then the album needed more. More needed to be told.
What I was originally trying to say shifted as the years passed on. My art, as often is, was a reflection of an internal experience but something began to evolve. The intent behind creation evolved. Onwardly it beckons the fires of inspiration. Even now I feel a need to place just a few more songs but I've already come to a better idea.
Well, as I wind down this blog it is my hope that the music I create connects to a place in you. Sometimes I absolutely must write for myself for I will be compelled in it's creation but other times I just like to write to make you either feel or enjoy something. I'm going to keep on working towards that goal every time.
Till next time!

Been chugging away on all the vocals for the album. It's just a good handful of songs that are left to get tracked. No official release date just yet but I'll be sure to announce it just as soon as I have one. BEFORE THOUGH! If you are one of the lucky few you're going to receive a copy long before anyone else will. Lucky you!
Also have been playing a few local shows and working to secure more. All the dates and any ticket links will be posted on the top of this page inside my Bands in Town widget. Hope to see you out there!

P.S. I also be releasing an acoustic reimagining of “Sun is Gonna Rise” so be on the lookout for that next month!
I've been tracking electric guitar over these past couple of weeks and I'm almost ready to begin tracking vocals!
I normally like to do DI for most of the productions I do but every now and then a piece of music requires a little more nuance so you have to use microphones.
Still working to have the album released later this year. An official date will be announced when I finally have it nailed down!
Tracking has finally begun for my solo project's debut album. I've spent a long time building all the foundations to get to this point. In total there should be about 20 or 21 songs taken from the past and created recently. This album will tell a story. That story will be revealed at a later date as I get closer to promoting and sharing some cuts from the album.
This has been an interesting experience to say the least. I look forward to getting this out.
Finally after much rigmarole you can finally find my music easily on Apple. MTMR's distribution partner had to fight tooth and nail with them to finally get things settled correct. Big props to Tune Core for working so hard on my behalf.
So happy to finally have all of those backing tracks completed! But, there is always more to do. Now that I've turned their creation into a science I can easily replicate, every song I create becomes an easily transferable production that I can streamline directly into live performance. I mean, I gotta keep my musical-arts-wizard status and I can't do that without churning out tunes.
So currently I have about 4 hours worth of stuff between original and covers. Now I'm gearing up to book different kinds of shows. My main focus is honestly on sharing my originals in a focused show format but since I'm kind of restarting my booking connections again, I'll have to take what I can get.
Working on the rest of the album right now. No direct date for when it will be released but I'm aiming for this year. I'll make those announcements as it becomes time to do so. Be sure to come follow me on Spotify! Every little share and follow helps tremendously and I can't thank you enough for doing so!
I'll have another update soon!

I finally finished all the backing tracks for my shows. Well, all the backing tracks I plan to have for the moment. Luckily with this setup, I can easily add new productions to the setlist. Already have the first performance of 2023 lined up at a charity benefit. Just doing a quick solo acoustic set on Saturday 1-22-23 at The Bone & Barrel over in Fairhope, Alabama.
It's definitely been a wild one this year for me. Won't get into all the details but it's been one hell of a ride. I'm hoping next year will be smoother but life tends to always be crazy. So, all I can do is just try to ride the waves as best as possible.
Here's looking at '23.

I've been working really hard on show materials lately. I'm having a blast playing drums and constructing all of these backing tracks for not only all of the original material I have but I've also been building a bunch of cover songs. And, when I say a bunch I mean approximately 3.5 hours worth. My local scene here in Mobile and the surrounding area tends to favor a lot of 4-hour entertainment gigs so I'm doing my part to build a very entertaining service. Hoping to have dates lined up for early next year for that and some actual shows as well!
Been getting really excited to share the music I've been writing for this upcoming album and constructing a show to really showcase them. I'll be looking for all kinds of opportunities to share what I can from this album. A good bit of songs are written for piano so I can't always translate those for guitar and when it comes to songwriter showcases or open mics it's a little difficult to try to do both.
All these music production skills I've learned since I started this journey in 2018 are really coming in handy. I'm looking forward to not only churning out tons of stuff to listen to but also, since I now produce music, helping others create solutions to bringing their music to life.
I'm almost thinking I might make a blog on MTMR's site specifically for my production, but perhaps another day!
I really hope those of you who have been listening enjoy what I've been working on and I look forward to seeing ya'll out there on the road!
Till next time,
-Bryant
Getting some more music back up on Spotify since the relaunch so you'll be finding that at the beginning of December. I'm hoping to get the album released sometime next year. Those signed up with my email list will get special access before it's released plus special deals on related merch.
I've been working on my live show like crazy and trying to design something fun and inspiring. I might not be able to get in any performances before the end of this year but I am hoping to have some show dates lined up for early 2023 and on a fairly regular basis from then on. Show dates will mainly focus on areas around the southeastern United States.
